Due to the more closed ecosystem, Apple devices are less susceptible to malicious viruses, but from time to time even they are not spared.
āļø Just recently, a new Mac malware has appeared that all MarsDAO users should be aware of.
Cryptocurrencies are frequent targets of the virus software, called Atomic macOS Stealer (AMOS). š AMOS itself was discovered on the expanse of Telegram, where it was sold as a web version for easy management.
š The software steals passwords, cookies, wallet data and money card details. To put the malware on the victim's computer, the installation uses a .dmg file that gives access to all information after installation.
The MarsDAO team recommends only installing software for Apple devices from the App Store and using biometric authentication wherever possible.
š Be vigilant! Give programs permission with caution and always update your devices to the latest available versions of the system.
