Forewarned is forearmed! 🔐 We at MarsDAO consider it our duty to inform the community of new fraud schemes and tell you how not to get caught in the trap of scammers. By the way, there's a new scam in Telegram! ⛔️ Here's the gist: 1️⃣ A scammer creates a copy of a channel (often a public person), shapes it up and announces the release of a new token at a super-low price (e.g., $0.01). They then tell you that it is possible to participate in a private round. The next rounds, supposedly, will already be at a higher price. They announce the listing date and say the price will be times higher (e.g., from $1.5 and up). In comes FOMO, x150... in a few clicks. Scammers rush people, saying that not everyone will have time to buy at such a low price, that the number of tokens in the private round is limited, etc. 2️⃣ Users buy these tokens. But it's not possible to sell them. And then, the scammers publish instructions on how to sell the tokens. They ask users to send another $699 to "unlock the ability to sell tokens" or wait for the listing to end.
