✨ Split Protocol features: MEV We continue our introduction to the features of Split Protocol, with whom we recently launched a partnership staking event. ⚙️ Today we'll discuss MEV (Miner Extractable Value) — the mechanics of getting Split Protocol tokens. Miner Extractable Value or MEV is the profit a miner can make by including/excluding/changing the order of transactions at will in the blocks they create. 🎁 What does Split Protocol offer? Every time users swap on DEX, they change the prices in specific AMM pools, which creates arbitrage opportunities that typically benefit a small group of people (MEV bots). Split changes the rules of the game by identifying such arbitrage opportunities and returns 50% of the profits from the opportunity created by the trader in the form of a cashback. 🪄 What's the magic? 1. Split utilizes AAVE's flash credits and does not need its liquidity to extract MEVs; 2. The efficiency of the algorithm is over 87%; 3. Traders get back up to 50% of price slippage; 4. Users don't even need to pay for gas. At its core, Split Protocol fairly distributes arbitrage profits to those who deserve it — the platform's users.
